Nattika Beach Blog
Kathakali a relatively recent performing art and one of the great artistic wonders of the world with a 400-year-old heritage, was staged at the nattika beach Ayurveda resort as part of our customary recreational activity for the guests . The performance was based on the mahabharatha episode – ‘Narakasuravadham, that evolves around the story of Narakasura, a vicious demon and Jayantha, the valorous son of Lord Indra (King of Gods).
Our patron guest, a prolific writer Barbara Kraus penned down her experience of her amazing sojourn at the Nattika Beach Resort on the reputed German health and wellness magazine “Freundin-Wellfit”. We are happy to share it here with all our friends and well-wishers of Nattika.
For a special occasion, the Nattika team celebrated the union of two beautiful souls.
Without the knowledge of our guest Mrs. Sylvia Meyer, the Nattika team in collaboration with her partner premeditated a wedding ceremony in the Indian style.
The Nattika beach Ayurveda resort lit up to the occasion of Diwali, the festival of lights and was adorned by the traditional diyas (earthenware oil lamps). Diwali, the festival of Lights commemorating the victory of good over evil, light over darkness, and knowledge over ignorance extends over five jubilant and celebrative days.
Our guests sat spellbound in the ambience of light and darkness as the story of the great epic Ramayana, which itself depicts the triumph of light over darkness, was presented through Tholpavakuthu or Shadow Puppetry, a unique folk art form of Kerala which has been intermittently staged at our resort.
Book Launch By Chef Joshy Sebastian
‘After the grand success of the Ayurveda culinary book “Healthy way to eat” launched in the year 2016, our master chef Joshy Sebastian is back with his another edition of lip smacking healthy Ayurveda recipes.
We are proud to announce that our resort has been chosen as one of the Kerala’s best Ayurveda resorts in an article published by the German media station SWR.
We are excited to be featured in the ‘Yoga! Das Magazin’ which is the only Swiss yoga magazine. It covers topics on a relaxed, healthy, and conscious lifestyle. The writer, Mrs. Karin Reber had stayed at the resort on her Ayurveda Holidays of two weeks and narrated this story about her memorable stay with us.
We organize a Tea time get together for our wonderful guests at the resort in the evening of every Thursday. All we want to do with this is bring our guests together because, we believe, their world will be better that way. It is all about making our resort more like a home and guests get a feel of a pleasant neighborhood at the resort.
Our repeater guests are an integral part of the resort and we have conducted interviews with a few of them who are currently staying with us to know the reasons that persuade them to come back to the resort every year. The feedback they all gave us were so much interesting and encouraging to us to do better to all our repeater guests, every single time they visit us..
