Cardamom is a cool spice with a distinctly minty aroma. Used in dishes to add flavor and also very healthy. It is sweet and slightly acrid / pungent in taste. It is good for all the doshas. It regulates the body temperature, prevents bad breath, good for cough, breathing difficulty and vomiting. It is desirable in painful micturition, urinary infection and burning micturition. Cardamom increases the digestive fire. It is good for the heart health.
