Happy Vishu for everyone!
This special event is celebrated in Kerala mainly by Hindus but also other religions are celebrating it and it means the start in a new season. So Vishu is a festival where the farmers in Kerala starts their agriculture activity.
In the morning of these day, there is a ritual, called Vishukkani what means: “what is seen first on Vishu” . The regional People preparing a night before this event a bowl with different things (like to see on the picture) in their prayer room. When they wake up in the morning, they will go with closed eyes to the room, so Vishukkani is the first sight they will see. This ritual will bring luck for the entire year.
