Staying Healthy This Winter

The 3 doshas (vata, pitta and kapha) control the nature of our mind-body system. As long as the three doshas are in their individual balance, we feel good and healthy.Certain factors such as wrong diet, stress, climate change etc. affect the balance. In order to survive the winter well, we would like to give you small tips on the way.

-Keep Always warm and protect you from wind and cold
-Drink Regular warm water
-eat invigorating, nutritious and hot meals – soups, stews, spicy teas etc. (the Vata pacifying spices include cinnamon, fennel, anise, nutmeg, caraway, cardamom, cloves, fresh ginger, parsley, basil, etc.)
-Avoid stimulants such as coffee, black tea and cigarettes
– Regular daily routine – particularly regular eating habits
-Healthy levels of activity, relaxation, sports, yoga, meditation and getting enough sleep
-warm oil treatments
