The Nattika beach Ayurveda resort lit up to the occasion of Diwali, the festival of lights and was adorned by the traditional diyas (earthenware oil lamps). Diwali, the festival of Lights commemorating the victory of good over evil, light over darkness, and knowledge over ignorance extends over five jubilant and celebrative days.
Our guests sat spellbound in the ambience of light and darkness as the story of the great epic Ramayana, which itself depicts the triumph of light over darkness, was presented through Tholpavakuthu or Shadow Puppetry, a unique folk art form of Kerala which has been intermittently staged at our resort.
